5 Day Saigon Cuchi Mytho Suoi Thien

Introduction -

Being the largest of Ho Chi Minh City, Suoi Tien Cultural Theme Park covers an area of 45 ha (expected to develop to an additional 70 ha) with deep impression of Vietnam's cultural and historic characteristics, inaugurated in September 2, 1995. The park comprises over 150 construction works of 8 groups including the big principal hall, square, preservation area, sight-seeing area, entertainment & game area, display house of strange artifacts, and restaurants

Program Schedule -

Day 1 ARRIVAL HCM CITY

Arr. Ho Chi Minh City . Check in hotel. Evening free for your own. Overnight in HCM City.

Day 2 HCM - CUCHI (B, L, D)

Cuchi Tunnel

ABF in hotel, Visit Chinatown and Tien Hou Temple-one of the oldest Vietnamese-Chinese clan run temple in Saigon. Proceed to Cu Chi village - Cuchi tunnel, tour to find out the historical tunnel with 200km underground network tunnels which the Liberation Army fought against the Americans in Vietnam War, the tunnels are 60-70cm wide and 80-90cm high but many has been re constructed for easy access to tourists. The tunnels are also approxmately 3-4metres deep and there is also a live firing range where toursits are able to buy live bullets (own expense) for various types of guns, handguns, machine guns and rifles used during the days of war. Back to HCM City for buffet lunch, visit the War Museum - historic pictures and warfare machines are displayed in this museum as well as pictures of individuals accounting their stories during the duration of war. There are also numerous snapshots by the American War reporters during the whole outcome of war and their opinions and articles as well, then continue city tour – Notre Dame Cathedral, Old Post Office etc.. Dinner onboard a cruise ship on Saigon River with live music performance. After dinner, back to hotel, overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 3 HCM - MYTHO - HCM (B, L, D)

Mekong Tour

ABF in hotel. Depart for Mytho - Upon arrival in Mytho, transfer to a ferry and take a 45minute ride on the Mekong River and discover the many stories behind the scattered islands found along the Mekong River. Then tranfer to the Thai Son Island where you will view local coconut candy production, bee farms and treat yourself to some of the local fruits (seasonal fruits). Here on the island you can also view the Mekong Delta Communities way of life. Drink refreshing honey tea while being entertained by a local folksong performance by the inhabits of the island. Finally take a 10 minute boat ride along the swampy rivers within the island where you will be transfered to the main ferry for the journey back to the mainland. Transfer to HCM City, Lunch enroute to one of the famous local restaurant in Mytho serving up its trademark dishes such as Deep Fried Elephant Ear Fish and Dragon Egg (Sweet Glutionous Ball) Shopping at Benh Thanh Market if time allows. Dinner. The rest of evening is free for your own lesiure.city.

The inhabitants of the Mekong Delta region are largely ethnic Viet, with Khmer minority populations living primarily in the Tra Vinh, Soc Trang, and An Giang provinces. There are also sizeable Chinese minority populations in the Kien Giang and Tra Vinh provinces.

Day 4 HCM - SUOI TIEN - HCM (B,L,D)

Suoi Tirn

ABF in Hotel, Depart for Suoi Tien Theme Park which is located 30mins from Ho Chi Minh Central. First started out as a wooden art crave workshop of just 2ha in 1987, it has since grown and expanded to an astonishing 50ha and further 3rd phase expansion of a land of 105ha by the year 2009. The theme park contains over 150 entertaining places and sightseeing locations for both adults and kids of every age. The theme park currently has a Giant Fruits Theme Festival going on from June till August. The Festival displays large real life carvings of fruits from all over the world with an included daily run of road carnival spanning more than 200 actors and 30 vechiles. There are also endless line of fruit outlets selling local seasonal fruits from as low as S$.20cents a kilo to S$2 Thail Durians. Visitors would also be delighted to know that there are many small carts selling local snacks from deep fried ice cream, sandwiches, fishball sticks..Etc. Upon arrival at Suoi Tien Theme Park, take a 30min private tram ride around the park and drop off at Magician Forest, the visitors will joit an interesting exploration through the darkness of booby traps & fantasy cratures. A train having 20 seats will bring tyou from the sky to the darkness of the universe at a high speed.

Fruit Carnival

Then visit the Crocodile Kingdom (over 15,000 Siamese Crocodiles) and try fishing for a real live crocodile! Continue onto to the Son Tinh – Thuy Tinh show, this historical play surely makes tourists impressed with the participant of 200 Traditional Vietnam kung-fu men. Giant Fruit Road Carnival - This special show makes use of unique entertainment technologies with the participant of 200 actors and actresses in special uniforms like King of Monkey, Fairy, Four Season’s fruits and flowers, after which customers will be free to go around to enjoy children rides & take pictures, proceed for lunch at local restaurant. After lunch, proceed back to Hotel, relax till dinner time. After dinner, proceed to evening water puppet show, Overnight in HCM City.  

Kids can enjoy the rides & games that is plentiful in the Suoi Tien Park while parents can marvel at the excuisite giant sculptures, man made waterfalls..all of which would make up a great place to take pictures for memories

Day 5 Departure (B)

Abf in hotel, free till time for transfer to airport for flight back to your country.
