Many who have visited this Tunnels have never failed to be impressed and awed by the perseverence and ingenuinity of the people who build the tunnels in the first place. A 250km of complex underground tunnels all dug manually by hand over a span of 20 years.

Depart from your hotel for Cu Chi tunnels. Another name of Cu Chi Tunnels is 'Steel land' . It was where the Northern Army troops concealed themselves during the Vietnam war. The Complex Underground tunnel systems were created by locals over a period of 20 years and houses hospital, sleeping quater, planning rooms, store rooms, eatingquater just to name a few. This huge construction was a habitation for village people wartime when the American war planes bombarded the area. With 3 storeys of depth, it was never searched throughly by the US Army and its allies during the war despite its proximity to Saigon.

If you are interested, you can also purchase live ammuntion and fire a weapon (AK-47, M16..etc) of the war at the rifle range.
After the Cu Chi tunnels visit we drive to Tay Ninh province for Cao Dai temple-Caodaism, founded in 1926 by Ngo Minh Chieu, is an attempt at an ideal religion, using religious and philosophical traditions from the West and the East, including Buddhism, Confusianism, Taoism, Hinduism, native Vietnamese spiritism, Christianity and Islam. The eclectism of the religion is reflected in the Great Temple . Join Cao Dai followers to arrange their daily afternoon mass for half an hour. Lunch and return to Ho Chi Minh City. Transfer back to your hotel.
