Introduction -
In recent years, Phan Thiet (specifically Mui Ne Beach district) has been transformed into a resort destination. October 24, 1995 is considered to be the birth of tourism in Phan Thiet, when thousands rushed to Mui Ne to see the total solar eclipse. The event was commemorated on the same day in 2005 as the tenth anniversary of tourism for the province. Muine is currently one of the popular beach resort for both locals and Foreignersin Vietnam. It is also the largest farming area for Vietnamese Local Fruit 'Dragon Fruit' .
Program Schedule
Day 1 Ho Chi Minh City-Phan Thiet 
Sand Dune
Depart Ho Chi Minh City by road for Phan Thiet. The scenic 200km drive north on Highway One passes through the bustling city of Bien Hoa before cutting through dense rubber plantations. Nearer to Phan Thiet the terrain changes to arid semi-desert with cactus plants and strange looking dragon fruit trees. Arrive in Phan Thiet in the noon and check into resort. The rest of day is free to relax by the pool or on the sandy beach. Overnight in Phan Thiet.
Day 2 Phan Thiet (B)
Beach
A full day at leisure in the resort or on the beach. You could arrange for a transport to head down to the City located 20km away, or you could hire/reant a bicycle, motorcyle and cruise down the coastal areas of the Phan Thiet Coastal town. Restaurants, cafes, bars are only 500m away from your resort area. Overnight in Phan Thiet.
Day 3 Phan Thiet-Ho Chi Minh City (B)
The morning is at leisure before checking out around noon and heading back to Ho Chi Minh City.
